The Olive Vine is located 20 km north of Amman, the capital of Jordan in the beautiful countryside of Jalaad.

The Olive Vine's 800 tree orchard was planted in two phases, 1994 and 1996 on 60 donum of land with one variety of olive tree called Nabali

From day one, The Olive Vine paid attention to farming details such as pruning trees twice a year and cultivating the soil and careful daily maintenance.  Chemicals and pesticides were avoided to ensure production of high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The Olive Vine is extremely fortunate due to its location as the soil and perfect amount of sun helps to produce this outstanding oil.

October usually signals the arrival of harvest time in Jordan.  However, it isn't until the green olives turn to a purplish-black that we even think of harvesting our olives.  It is only then we assemble a crew to carefully pick up the olives one by one, by hand.

Each day the olives are picked they are sent directly to the press mill for production of our high quality extra virgin olive oil.
